I am a Vizsla owner documenting for readers the daily gifts and challenges of raising two precious Vizslas from puppy to adulthood as well as providing tips and important information. I will be documenting the lives of my two Vizslas, Drexel and Scarlet.
Vizslas are hunting dogs that are Hungarian decent. We received both Vizslas from a breeder in Pittsburgh. They are biological sisters born a year apart Drexel (left) is three and Scarlet (right) is two years old. Drexel is very shy, skittish and does not like her picture taken. Scarlet is very adventurous and is up for anything as long as she's the center of attention. We live in the Pine Barrens of South Jersey where both dogs have plenty of space to run around and stretch their legs.
